Supply Assurance Buyer

Advantage Technical is seeking a Supply Assurance Buyer for our client in Woodinville, WA.
Procurement of indirect materials and services. Place purchase orders for goods and services needed in support of a manufacturing facility and manage supplier relationships to optimize supply chain efficiency. Purchase of indirect goods and services in support of the manufacturing plant is the primary objectives. Investigating and solving invoice issues is a part of this.
How You’ll Make An Impact:
Issue Indirect purchase orders, invoicing management, sourcing, expediting, PO maintenance, support supplier performance management, support supplier selection/qualification.
Process orders in a timely manner and in compliance with best practices.
Provide timely information regarding order processing, procedures and system updates
Recognize and reconcile any potential order conflicts such as delivery/shipping delays, pricing errors, and out of stock situations to ensure orders will deliver on time and in full
Resolve and/or escalate critical order issues to achieve manufacturing goals and priorities
Utilize SAP order reporting to identify and reconcile order exceptions which could cause delays in deliveries / production.
What You Bring :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Procurement or Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
Minimum of three years procurement experience preferred.
Basic knowledge and application of the principles and theories of purchasing/materials.
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint).
Good oral and written communication, negotiation, and multitasking skills with good organizational skills.
SAP experience highly preferred
