Systems Analyst

Description

+ Formulates and defines system scope and objectives based on user needs.

+ Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex business problems considering system limitations and capacity.

+ Prepares detail specifications for developers.

+ Provides technical expertise in evaluating new software modifications that will enhance operating and development activities.

+ Preference for DevOps experience as they will be involved in a cloud migration project to AWS (AWS Cert is a bonus)

+ Should be able to review and understand code for troubleshooting but do not need to have hands on development

+ Someone that can own a project (plan, lead, deliver) is preferred

Requirements

+ W-2 ONLY

+ Around 10+ years of experience, working knowledge of CI/CD tooling such as git, Jenkins, artifactory, etc.

+ Working knowledge of monitoring systems and metric databases

+ Experience working with AWS is a plus but not required

+ Proven ability to automate as much as possible

+ Experience in TechOps (incident management, problem management, change controls/management, release deployment, middleware)

+ This person must have Kafka

+ Must be at least an 8 out of 10 in Linux

+ Must be able to script (preference for Python or Bash)
