NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a leading manufacturing company to find a Talent Acquisition Specialist. The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting for technical, operational, and managerial roles within the manufacturing or industrial sector. A successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of labor market trends, workforce planning, and compliance with recruitment laws and best practices to attract and hire top talent.
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on the manufacturing industry
• Experience hiring skilled trades (e.g., machinists, welders, electricians) and technical roles
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment platforms
• Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and employment laws
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred:
• Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR)
• Familiarity with recruitment tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other job boards
• Understanding of technical job requirements in a manufacturing setting
