The Role!
We are looking for a detail-oriented Tax Accountant to ensure compliance with local tax regulations, manage filings, and identify tax-saving opportunities. You will work with internal teams to gather financial data, prepare reports, and support audits. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with strong analytical skills and tax expertise.
What will you do?
- Maintain and update tax records and documentation.
- Reconcile tax accounts and ensure accurate reporting.
- Assist in preparing WHT and VAT tax returns.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
- Ensure tax payments comply with local tax laws.
- Collect and analyze financial data for tax filings.
- Research tax laws, regulations, and updates to ensure compliance.
- Support in preparing documents and analysis for tax inspection.
- Identify potential tax-saving opportunities for the company.
- Support responses to tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary tax-related information.
Who are you?
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting
- Basic knowledge of tax laws and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and tax reporting tools.
- Strong Excel skills for tax calculations and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
