System One is actively recruiting for a Senior Maintenance and Development Trainer for a 3-month contract position working remote.

Senior Maintenance and Development Trainer Responsibilities:

  • Establishes and directs a training system and/or conducts classroom and practical instruction to provide technical knowledge for the safe maintenance, repair, and operation of aircraft, aircraft systems, ground equipment, tools, test equipment, stores, and facilities, according to established procedures.
  • May analyze current operating problems and future operating requirements to identify training needs and develop training programs.
  • Writes, edits, and produces materials for technical instruction.
  • Provides assistance and support to all divisions in helping them determine their training needs and develop and conduct their maintenance training programs.
  • Establishes and directs the maintenance of company-wide training programs.
  • Establishes and directs the maintenance of a company-wide training and qualification record system.
  • Maintains currency in technical developments, technical training, and audiovisual techniques including the maintenance of company aircraft instruction manuals.
  • Coordinates all required technical training and outside contract sales technical training programs. Excluding ground school instructors.

Senior Maintenance and Development Trainer Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in Customer Training.
  • Strong technical background.
  • Knowledge in repair concepts and facility sustainment requirements.
  • Experience troubleshooting or repairing electronics in military or commercial industry.
  • Understanding of requirements conforming to current industrial/military standards.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships are a must.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team.
  • Ability to present findings to customers and management.
  • Additionally, candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills, technical writing experience, and an ability to perform oral presentations in front of large groups.
  • Candidate must be willing to travel as needed to support program requirements.
Desired skills:
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree
  • Prior military experience
  • HIMARS and/or MLRS experience
  • Experience in Electronic/Electromechanical testing and troubleshooting
  • Ability to manipulate and analyze computer aided design models using a 3-D viewer
  • Reliability/Maintainability engineering knowledge
  • Safety engineering knowledge

Work Location: Remote
Contract Duration: 3-months
Pay Rate: $62.80/hr.
