Job Summary
We are seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, from managing inventory to coordinating shipping and receiving activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient processes and maximizing productivity within the warehouse environment.
Duties
- Manage and supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Implement and maintain warehouse management systems to optimize inventory control and tracking
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Oversee fleet management activities, including vehicle maintenance and scheduling
- Utilize continuous improvement strategies to streamline warehouse operations
- Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to enhance overall supply chain efficiency
- Monitor materials management processes to minimize waste and reduce costs
- Lead dispatching operations to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse management, with a strong understanding of shipping/receiving procedures
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control
- Knowledge of operations management principles to optimize workflow efficiency
- Experience in fleet management and logistics coordination is a plus
- Ability to implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse performance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Language: English and Spanish (Required)
License/Certification: Driver’s License (Required)
