Empire Distributors Inc, A Leading Beverage Distributor is now hiring a PM Warehouse Worker. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- This person will pull orders, stock, store, and distribute inventory and products within the warehouse. This person will also load trucks for next day delivery.
- Utilizes computerized inventory systems to include SAP and KEA.
- Reads schedules, orders and other requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Transfers inventory lines to vehicles for next day deliveries.
- Replenishes inventory lines as needed.
- Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for stock items and places inventory on vehicles. Sorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated areas.
- Marks materials with identifying information.
- Opens bales, crates, and other containers. Repacks containers as necessary.
- Weighs or counts items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards.
- Operates various pieces of warehouse equipment (Cherry Pickers, Forklifts, Slip Sheet, Clamp, Electric Pallet Jacks, etc).
- Assist with counting of inventory.
- Cleans and maintains warehouse daily according to clean up specifications as directed by team lead and management.
- Other duties as assigned by the Night Manager, Supervisor, and Lead.
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Forklift Certificate – Must have the ability to receive and sustain a license to drive a forklift.
Computer Skills
- Basic Computer Skills.
