OverviewWATCH OFFICER (EPA):Bowhead seeks a Watch Officer to support the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Emergency Operations Center (EOC) in Washington D.C. The Watch Officer will work alongside volunteer Federal officials under the supervision of the Senior Watch Officer and EOC management to assist the Office of Emergency Management (OEM) in fulfilling its emergency response mission. The Watch Officer is a full-time, on-site position that requires an individual experienced in emergency response operations to work at a watch desk from 07:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday (except Federal holidays). This person will monitor email and telephone traffic, respond in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and generate incident and other reports that ensure EPA managers and other stakeholders are aware of incidents and the status EPA’s emergency response capabilities.Responsibilities
