Through this ten week cohort program, Propel Insurance provides an amazing professional opportunity to begin a career in insurance. The development program introduces participants to Propel s commercial service operational platform and prepares entry level Account Assistants to join a service team upon completion of the program. Trainees will learn and apply commercial lines agency standards, policies, technology, workflows, procedures, and basic coverage knowledge.
Ten week structured training program focused on commercial workflows, procedures, systems, coverage education, industry awareness.
Includes 90-120 days online and in-office training.
Paid time to study and test for state specific Property&Casualty license.
Trainers include experienced Propel employees who are dedicated to training and mentoring new employees in agency operations, and who have familiarity with commercial risks and Propel culture.
Total CSR online platform, internal weekly training, and carrier education webinars/instruction sessions are incorporated daily to provide conceptual, procedural, and product knowledge.
Process service-related requests that comply with company standards such as: certificates, endorsements, cancellations, auto identification cards and preparing policy binders.
Order loss runs, gather applications and other materials needed for the pre-renewal process.
Assist Account Manager with tasks such as policy checking, premium audits, securing premium finance arrangements, etc.
Maintain and update database in both Sagitta and ImageRight ensuring proper and accurate documentation.
Participate in and complete assigned training goals.
Establish and maintain reputable relationships with carrier representatives, clients and peers.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Manager
Experience and Education:
Resident State Agents Property & Casualty License or ability to obtain one within 4 weeks of hire.Propel will cover the cost of pre-licensing education, and three attempts at the licensing exam.
College degree preferred.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook.
Strong work ethic timely follow-up, team oriented, proactive, detail oriented, and dependable.
Ability to work independently
Salary range: $40,000 to $45,000/year
