Assistant General ManagerSpectrum Restaurant Management Group LLC is seeking a full-time Assistant General Manager to join our team in Irvine, CA. About the Role:The Assistant General Manager helps the general manager to ensure day-to-day business operations run smoothly. The assistant manager will draw up weekly schedules, order merchandise, and assist the general manager with training, recruiting, promotions and planning. What You ll Do:Must be an experienced assistant general manager to help the general manager in directing daily business operationsShould be experienced in a supervisory role, and be able to confidently deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and clearly communicate business objectivesMust be able to perform duties in the absence of the general managerShould eagerly participate in educational and training opportunitiesMust be able to motivate staff, especially during times of low moraleA top candidate for this position must have strong leadership and organizational skillsShould be firm, but also approachableCooperating with the general manager and assisting with anything from project planning to staff managerNurturing positive working relationships with staffDelegating daily tasksAddressing any issues in a timely fashionSupervising staff and controlling merchandiseEnsuring company policies and procedures are followedSetting a good example for staffOur Ideal Candidate:Education and ExperienceMaster s degree or equivalent in Business Administration or similar; or 4-10 years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experiencePrior restaurant management experience, preferably in a growing environment preferredSkills and AbilitiesGreat interpersonal and communication skillsStrong problem-solving abilitiesGood observation skillsAn ability to deliver constructive criticismComputer literate and basic math skillsAn ability to identify weaknesses and provide coaching where necessaryMust be able to work weekends and restaurant hoursMust be open to technology and paperless environmentMust be dressed professionallyMust demonstrate leadership and a positive attitudePosition Type/Expected Hours of Work:This position may require long hours, weekend work, and holidaysWhat We Offer:$70000 – $80000 / yearBenefits package availableTo Apply:Please submit your resume via the APPLY NOW buttonEqual Opportunity Employer
