Position Overview
Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RI&S) is seeking a Cybersecurity Strategy and Automation Manager to join the Digital Technology (DT) Cybersecurity & Compliance (C&C) team. The Strategy and Automation Manager will be responsible for partnering with DT C&C leadership to develop and manage strategic cybersecurity integration and automation activities, including identification and prioritization of strategic initiatives, development of project roadmaps, and cross organizational alignment. The manager will lead efforts to identify and deploy efficiency enabling automation solutions that integrate services and processes to enable compliance at the speed of business. This role requires strong communication skills, a strategic mindset, critical and integrated thinking skills, and program or project management experience.
Responsibilities
Drive innovative technology solutions across C&C services through the development of roadmaps and strategic plans for automation, process integration, and service improvement to maximize efficiencies and technology investments.
Collaborate with C&C Leadership to develop service roadmaps and strategic plans and ensure successful execution of functional goals, plans and service improvement initiatives.
Partner with C&C service leaders and other DT organizational teams to identify common service issues and inefficiencies and collaborate on identifying innovative solutions to improve services through the integration of processes, systems and compliance automation.
Identify opportunities to gain efficiencies through data analytics, service reviews, and lessons learned, then partner with service leads to act upon them to realize positive outcomes.
Partner and collaborate with C&C service leads to ensure the creation of project plans to meet service improvement, cost, and schedule goals.
Oversee the successful completion of C&C strategic initiatives and service projects by setting deadlines, communicating with stakeholders about the state of the project, ensuring projects stay on track and on budget, and adjusting, if necessary, to meet new requirements.
Liaison with the DT OCIO Project Management team to participate in project reviews to support coordination for identifying and tracking execution and changes in project scope, cost, schedule, risk and service improvement requirements.
Develop and maintain strong partner relationships with C&C leaders and advocate for their needs.
Required Skills
Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT/DT, engineering or related technical field or program or project management
Bachelor’s degree in technical or management field
Professional accomplishments in a broad spectrum of information technology, system engineering and program management leadership roles.
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels
Demonstrated successes in working with geographically distributed teams
Ability to influence and motivate team members and peers
Ability to partner with matrixed organizations to ensure successful strategy development and deployment
Ability to lead and move between strategic and tactical initiatives
Proven demonstration of leadership competencies including influential communications (written and oral), strategic thinking, integrated thinking, cultivating innovation, and collaboration
U.S. Citizenship
Desired Skills
Master’s degree in a technical field or MBA
Raytheon Program Management Certification Level 5 and/or Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
Experience designing and developing automation services
Understanding of developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining complex applications and/or databases including web applications and interfaces
Six Sigma and / or Lean certification / training
Requires broad management and leadership knowledge to lead project teams.
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
