Job TitleDistribution and Reverse Logistics LeaderJob DescriptionThe Distribution and Reverse Logistics Leader will oversee the entire outbound distribution network and reverse logistics operations for returned and refurbished products across North America. This role will optimize distribution strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery to customers while streamlining reverse logistics processes to enhance recovery value and customer satisfaction. Your role:Managing last-mile distribution and reverse logistics processes. Optimizing distribution routes, shipments, schedules, and carrier partnerships to ensure on-time, cost-effective, and accurate product deliveryCollaborating with 3PLs and transport carriers to monitor performance and ensure compliance with service-level agreements (SLA) related to delivery speed, accuracy, and cost controlBuilding and managing relationships with carriers to ensure high performance and outbound logisticsOverseeing contract negotiations, procurement, and performance management for all distribution-related service providersTracking and managing KPIs such as on-time delivery, freight costs, and order accuracy.
Implementing corrective actions as necessaryLeading initiatives to improve distribution processes, reducing lead times, and lower distribution costs while maintaining high customer satisfaction standardsDeveloping and managing reverse logistics strategy to efficiently handle customer returns, repairs, refurbishments, and recycling programsImplementing processes to recover value from returned products through refurbishment, reselling, recycling, or other sustainable practicesLeveraging data analytics and automation tools to optimize reverse logistics flowsDeveloping a seamless and efficient returns process to ensure high customer satisfactionLeveraging data analytics to generate insights into distribution performance, cost control, and return rates, providing actionable recommendations for continuous improvementYou’re the right fit if: You have acquired 10 + years of leading experience in warehouse management, transport management, customer service managementYou have a Master’s degree in Supply Chain or other relevant disciplineYou have a knowledge of Logistics Optimization TechniquesYou are able to perform Carrier Qualification and Selection and Carrier Performance AnalysisYou have experience with Export Operations Management and Inbound Shipment AnalysisYou are able to execute on Business Strategy and Supply Chain AlignmentYou must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
