Summary of Position

The Patient Service Representative is responsible for ensuring successful telemedicine engagement between patient and providers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Schedule, cancel and re-schedule patient appointments
  • Make reminder/follow-up calls
  • Provide ongoing service recovery and proactive support to members to improve the experience
  • Inform patients about changes/updates
  • Help member connect with provider that meets their needs
  • Assist patients with filling out patient history and consent forms as needed
  • Handle member escalations by answering, investigating and/or directing patient inquiries or complaints to the appropriate place

  • Knowledge of medical terms and practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organization
