Summary of Position
The Patient Service Representative is responsible for ensuring successful telemedicine engagement between patient and providers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Schedule, cancel and re-schedule patient appointments
- Make reminder/follow-up calls
- Provide ongoing service recovery and proactive support to members to improve the experience
- Inform patients about changes/updates
- Help member connect with provider that meets their needs
- Assist patients with filling out patient history and consent forms as needed
- Handle member escalations by answering, investigating and/or directing patient inquiries or complaints to the appropriate place

- Knowledge of medical terms and practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and organization
