Full Job Description
Home Instead is looking for caring and compassionate CARE Pros to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.
Our dependable and reliable CARE Pros care for our clients in a professional and compassionate manner. The ideal candidates will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help our clients. We will help the right candidates to succeed.
CARE Pros duties include but are not limited to:
- Companionship
- Meal preparation
- Medication reminders
- Light housekeeping
- Transportation to medical appointments, errands, and more
- Personal Care such as assistance with toileting and showering
- Assistance with Activities of Daily Living such as transferring, grooming, and dressing
- Specialized care with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and hospice.
Skills:
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with privacy, dignity, and respect
- Outstanding communication with clients in a positive and friendly manner
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Good time management skills
- Strong ethics
- Registered Home Care Aide (HCA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), and Personal Care Assistants (PCA). If you are not registered, we can assist you with the process.
- No education or experience requirement needed. We offer full PAID training.
