Your day-to-day work may include, but is not limited to:
- Performs electromechanical assemblies in the form of sub-assemblies and final assembly product under a microscope.
- Assemble ultra-miniature assemblies or be fully proficient in a specific product line.
- It operates standard shop equipment including soldering iron, microscope, ultrasonic cleaner, and furnaces.
- Reworks malfunctioning units.
- Communicates with the calibration department to ensure accurate assembly and proper operation of the units.
- Conduct ongoing cross-training to increase skills and knowledge.
- Weld miniature parts under a microscope for extended periods during the work shift.
- Flexible and capable of processing more complex assemblies with minimal oversight.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Professional Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in electromechanical assembly, soldering under a microscope
- Must be able to read and understand engineering assembly drawings.
- Advanced schematic reading and ability to troubleshoot assemblies.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Good dexterity of hands and eyes.
- Good communication skills.
- Certified for J-STD C or IPC-610.
- Must be a local candidate.

Compensation
$20.00 – $23.00 per hour
