Responsibilities
- Partner with business groups and Varian IT to deliver IT projects across multiple business units. The person will be involved in leading business sessions to define high level business goals/vision, extract business requirements, software selection, define performance indicators, and architect the solution on various IT platforms.
- Work closely with IT Supply Chain Solutions Manager to fulfil defined business goals.
- Provide project management and solution expertise in the areas of SAP MM, PP, QM, PM, WM with an extensive knowledge on the integration aspects of different business processes.
- Work closely with business and IT to provide application support and continuous improvements for the applications that are already in production and used extensively for day-to-day operations.
- Primary focus will be on processes and applications such as: Procurement, Manufacturing and Logistics.
Qualifications Required:
- BE, B Tech, MSc, MCA
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering or Computer Science with 7 to 9 years of industry/ IT experience.
- 7-9 years’ experience
Technologies required:
- SAP Supply Chain, Product Lifecycle Management, Transportation Management.
Job Requirements:
Logistics
- 2 years of project management experience leading small to medium scale enterprise projects that requires fundamental change in business practice and automation to deliver significant value to business. The candidate should be able to understand procurement, manufacturing, quality processes within business functions.
- The candidate should have successfully participated in at least 1 full life cycle end-to-end business transformation projects implementing SAP manufacturing modules.
- The candidate must have hands on design, configuration, and customization in SAP supply chain like MM, PP, QM, PM modules along with exposure of integration with Finance and SD/PS along with Transportation management.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Prior consulting experience, preferably in a Big 4 environment with exposure to clients/customers in US and Europe.
- Experience conducting requirements analysis, meeting with business owners, and performing current state system analysis
- Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving skills and quick learner of new technologies.
- Experience in SAP S/4, ABAP, EWM & TM would be beneficial
- Professional qualification like SAP certification are preferred
PLM
- Partner closely with business groups and Varian EAS (Enterprise Application) team to keep the enterprise applications in the PLM & PPM domains running.
- Work closely with the IT PLM Manager and other IT AMS manager to fulfil defined business goals.
- Provide expertise in the area of custom developments on SAP and other web platforms.
- Hands-on experience with current technologies and able to learn future technologies on job and capable to provide recommendations as needed to meet corporate IT objectives.
- Work closely with business and IT to provide application support and continuous improvements for the applications that are already in production and used extensively for day-to-day operations.
- Primary focus will be on following engineering processes/platforms: SAP DMS (Document Management System), Engineering Change Management on SAP PLM 7.02 platform, the Engineering Control Center (ECTR) based SAP PLM CAD integration with Creo and Solidworks tools, SAP Environment Health & Safety Management (EHSM 5.0), SAP Engineering Change Number (ECN) etc.

The base pay range for this position is
Min $105,500 – Max $189,800
The pay wage range shown is based on the job posting’s primary location. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and location.
