We are looking for a Solution Area Specialist who can Discover and qualify new leads; drive consumption with new and exisiting customers. Identify market and customer needs and collaborate with internal teams to devise solutions to meet those needs. Orchestrate deals across multiple stakeholder groups including partners. Position Microsoft solutions in competitive landscape through research and collaboration; utilize industry expertise to differentiate Microsoft solutions.
Develop and manage pipeline for territory and forecasts resource needs; meet with customers on site to deepen relationships and solution development.Required/minimum qualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 4+ years technology-related sales or account management experience OR 5+ years technology-related sales or account management experience.Additional or preferred qualifications4+ years solution or services sales experience.Master’s Degree in Business Administration (i.e., MBA), Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years technology-related sales or account management experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, or related field AND 6+ years technology-related sales or account management experience OR 7+ years technology-related sales or account management experience.Solution Area Specialists IC4 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,100 – $185,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $144,000 – $203,500 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
