As a member of the warehouse team for McCollister s you will play an integral part in both warehousing and transportation management. The warehouse team member supports not only their local team at the branch level, but also impacts the greater transportation flow throughout the system for McCollister s valued customers.
Warehouseman report to Warehouse Supervisor. The team member will plan and execute assigned orders to exceed customer expectations, ensure customer atisfaction, and maintain profitability for McCollister s and its members.
About The Position:
- Starting Pay $22-24 Per Hour (Dependant Upon Experience)

Responsibilities:
- Load, unload, store and distribute freight to meet customer and internal requirements.
- Report structure includes a Dock Supervisor and a Warehouse Manager
- Handle freight properly to avoid claims, to maximize efficiency and exceed customer expectations
- Operate and utilize tools include forklifts, pallet jacks, roll-a-lifts, J-bars, dock plates while loading and unloading shipments.
- Learn and apply use of Warehouse Management System (WMS) for receiving, storage management and releasing items to the piece level inventory.
- Complete paperwork associated with freight handling. This includes Bills of Lading, Warehouse Exception Reports, AR-23s and submit as necessary.
Requirements:
- A Minimum Of 2 Years Warehouse Experience And Be Proficient At Loading, Unloading, Receiving, and Paperwork Management.
- Forklift and Bar Coding Experience Is A Plus
- Ability To Lift 75 LBS.
- Positive Communication Skills
- Competent Computer Skills
- Candidate Must Be Able To Communicate Effectively At All Levels Of The Organization
- Must Be Able To Work In A Fast Paced Environment
