Risuteganib (Luminate), our primary investigational compound, is leading the charge with a novel mechanism ofaction that regulates multiple pathways of oxidative stress response, including mitochondrial dysfunction, which contribute to diseases such as intermediate non-exudative age-related macular degeneration (intermediate dry AMD).
Risuteganib has successfully met the primary endpoint in a Phase 2a clinical trial for intermediate dry AMD and is preparing to commence its Phase 2b/3 clinical program. Data from these studies suggest the ability to treat patients by simultaneously targeting multiple oxidative stress response pathways to restore retinal homeostasis.
Allegro has also expanded the companys mitochondrial stabilizer portfolio with the front-of-the-eye drug candidate ALG-1007. ALG-1007 is a topical therapeutic compound in development for potential use in patients with dry eye disease (DED), a condition affecting millions of people around the world.

Job Summary:
Were looking for a Data Entry Technician/Clerk to join our Allegro Ophthalmics team within our Data Entry department. In this role, youll be responsible for the entry and processing of medication orders into the pharmacy operating system.
Data Entry Technicians are expected to have a positive attitude and work well in a team environment, must be dependable, possess a strong work ethic and have reliable attendance. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and is an effective communicator. They are always a team player, eager to jump in where needed and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy and needs of customers.
Responsibilities:
Data entry involves the entry and processing of medication orders via the pharmacys operating system which includes:
Hand-written Physician Order Sheets and State Prescription Blanks
Electronic Prescriptions
Reorder Requests
Phone Order Physician Sheets
All tasks and duties must be completed in accordance and compliance with HIPAA guidelines, State and Federal laws, and current company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Entry Level allowed but Previous data entry experience preferred
1 year or more long-term, retail pharmacy, or hospital pharmacy experience preferred
(PTCB) national certification is preferred but not mandatory
Knowledge of Framework/DocuTrack is a plus
Moderate computer and typing skills required
Candidate must possess basic calculation skills
