Administrative Assistant – Temp assignment for Primary Elections Full Time



ATA Services, Inc is currently seeking to hire an Absentee Support Clerk (Data Entry/Phone Bank) to work on a temporary assignment with the Bernalillo County Bureau of Elections. This position is expected to last until December 6, 2024.THIS POSITIONS REQUIRES THAT YOU ARE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG TEST INCLUDING MARIJUANA.

  • Pay Rate: $16.15 per hour with weekly pay
  • Start Date: September 9, 2024
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., hours and days will be extended as needed
  • Location: SE Albuquerque – Gibson and Broadway
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check, and have a clean driving record and drug test – this includes marijuana


JOB DUTIES:

  • Data entry of absentee applications
  • Receive and make calls in the phone bank
  • Maintenance verifications of data entry
  • Processing incoming mail
  • Mail preparation of outgoing mail
  • Filing
  • Provide support to the Absentee Board

Job Requirements:

  • Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to handle inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Attention to detail for accurately managing schedules, paperwork, and guest information.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, including reservation software, email, and word processing software.
  • Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
  • Adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Respect for guest privacy and confidentiality.
  • Willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings, and weekends.
  • Ability to work under pressure during busy periods or in emergency situations.
