Find out more at watch an overview video at are Now Hiring a Dispatcher in San Marcos, Texas!Transdev is proud to offer:$22.50 / hourAttractive benefits package, including 401(k) with company contribution, medical, dental and visionPaid time off & vacationOur Dispatchers are responsible for:Oversees all routing and scheduling of buses; dispatch buses and provide timely information to drivers and passengers on route.Reorganize and reschedule trips and runs when necessary, or beneficial, to ensure effective and efficient routing of service.Ensure On-Time-Performance and Productivity requirements are met.Handles heavy phone and radio traffic with professionalism.Checking drivers in before each AM and PM route.Controlling and monitoring driver hours to help ensure fair distribution of work and assignment budgeting.Maintaining dispatch logs, route sheets, and other dispatch documents and reports.Assists drivers with day-to-day operations and ensure compliance with operating contract, state and local ordinances, and company policies and procedures.Provides solutions to drop-off and pick-up problems; resolve issues as needed.Making quick decisions to ensure routes are covered.
