RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in the greater Los Angeles Area that is looking for an Applications Specialist. This position is onsite 5x a week in their Pasadena or Costa Mesa, CA office. Working hours are from 7am-4pm.Summary:The Applications Specialist will be expected to design and develop solutions to improve the organizations operational efficiency. In this role you will have the opportunity in driving the organizations value up on a foot forward to achieve business results. This role is more business oriented, back-office automation using MS Office tools.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Information Systems or similar education
- Familiarity with sales and accounting data reporting, ERP platforms in corporate business setting
- Demonstrates strong data analysis, design and application testing skills
- Understanding of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM); Agile-Scrum, Agile-Kanban, Lean Six Sigma
- Advanced experience with Visual Basic for Applications specific to Excel required
- Experienced with Smartsheet, including WorkApps – SaaS platform for business process automations
- Experienced with Microsoft Power BI dashboards, reporting, data setup
- Willing to learn and master new application platforms as required
- Ability to use discretion and maintain confidential information
- Ability to operate in a startup fashion for emerging technologies that impact the construction industry
- Ability to quickly adapt to new business teams, new technologies and processes and take on a leadership role in solutioning for business process automation
- Ability to communicate difficult and complex concepts clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
- Ability to solve complex problems using critical thinking, at times independently and often to seek out help from team members to collaborate on innovative solutions
- Ability to work independently and as part of multiple teams on overlapping projects
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
