The Illinois Department of Natural Resources is looking to hire a Site Superintendent 3 for Morrison- Rockwood State Park. This position: prepares, submits and monitors operating and capital improvement budgets and annual plans of work; monitors and implements site security and safety programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations; reviews, analyzes, and incorporates proposals concerning short- and long-range plans for site management; develops and implements public information materials and programs; and appears at public hearings. The ideal candidate will be able to utilize their supervisory skills with a moderately large staff while engaged in site operations, maintenance, and interpretive activities. Morrison-Rockwood State Park is comprised of 1,164 acres, located north of Morrison in Whiteside County.
