We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team near Buffalo Grove on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-volume invoice processing, proficiency in ERP systems, and intermediate Excel skills. This role is vital for ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process high-volume invoices accurately and efficiently
- Review and match invoices to purchase orders and receipts
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate vendor records and payment schedules
- Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
- Support ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in accounts payable or a related field
- Proficiency in ERP systems
- Intermediate Excel skills, including functions like VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Pay Details: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
