Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure Design: Design, implement, and manage scalable and robust cloud-based data architecture solutions using leading cloud platforms in AWS
• Data Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce data security measures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Develop and maintain data encryption, access controls, and auditing protocols.
• Data Integration and Migration: Lead the planning and execution of data integration and migration projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow across systems and platforms.
• Database Management: Oversee the selection, implementation, and management of databases and data warehousing technologies. Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure data availability and reliability.
• Automation and Optimization: Implement automation strategies for data processes, reducing manual interventions. Continuously optimize data architecture for performance, cost, and efficiency.
• Scalability and Performance Monitoring: Develop and implement strategies for monitoring and enhancing the scalability and performance of cloud-based data solutions. Proactively identify and address potential bottlenecks.
• Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and software developers. Create comprehensive documentation for data architecture, processes, and configurations.

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Cloud Technical Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based data architecture to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security of our data solutions.

The ideal candidate will have:

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience as a Cloud Data Architect or in a similar role. Strong background in designing and implementing cloud-based data solutions.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS), data warehousing, ETL processes (AWS Glue), ECS, Cloud Watch, Lambda, API Gateway, and database management systems (AWS Aurora). Familiarity with big data technologies is a plus. And working in Terraform (Azure Dev Ops)
• Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Innovative Thinking: Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically about data architecture, anticipating future trends and business needs.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in cloud platforms and data management are a plus.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $150K- $160K

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
