The Belmont Village Difference
As a Belmont Village Caregiver, you will provide hands-on personal assistance to seniors in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. This role is ideal for dependable, detail-oriented individuals who are patient, caring, and enjoy engaging with older adults.
Your Typical Daily Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living
- Encourage socialization and participation in community activities
- Document care provided and communicate any changes in residents’ needs
- Maintain care, safety, and cleanliness standards according to regulatory compliance
- Provide hands-on assistance with toileting, hygiene, and incontinence care as needed
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Clear communication skills in verbal and written English
- Experience as a primary caregiver or relevant training
- Ability to work a defined schedule, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Skills and Characteristics:
- At least one year of direct care experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Skilled Nursing
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Observant, dependable, adaptable, and respectful
