Catering Lead – up to $13-$15/hr – Urgently Hiring Full Time

The Catering Lead is a great opportunity to offer great hospitality to our catering guests!. The Catering Lead (CL) works directly with the Catering Sales Manager (CSM) to build, deliver, and execute the catering orders assigned to them each day. The CL is expected to act and dress in a professional manner when working in the store and when in front of the catering customer. The CL is expected to check in with the CSM daily for assignments.

If so desired, the CL may ask for approval to pick up extra hours in the store when all catering orders are completed.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:
– Print and pull all paper products needed for the – catering order(s) each day.
– Build out the catering order(s), check order for accuracy before leaving the store, deliver & set up catering order(s) for guests within the 30-minute delivery time window.
– Clean up prep areas used while building out the catering order(s).
– Return catering bags back to the store after delivery, add in any tip received in the system on the computer and post the sale. The CL will need to send a pic of the invoice with tip to the CSM.
– Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and emergencies.
– Reports to work on time and in professional attire.

Additional Job Functions:
– Knowledge of the catering menu and food to answer any questions of guests at delivery.
– Completes special projects as needed.
– Completes any task requested by a supervisor or member of Salata management team.

Qualifications
– Applicant must have reliable transportation and a valid DL and insurance.
– Must have a clean driving record.
– Excellent communication skills, organization skills, attention to detail, and customer service.
– Health and safety regulations pertinent to catering events.
– Previous restaurant and delivery experience in a catering position helpful.
– Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
– Ability to lift 40 lbs.
