Job Details for Shipping Clerk in Bedford Park, IL:


  • Pay Rate: $19.00
  • Weekly Pay through Direct Deposit
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00AM – 3:30PM

DAY TO DAY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Verify pick up numbers against a google sheet tracker
  2. Communicate with team members on the floor to provide updates on inbound/outbound loads
  3. Escalate concerns and issues with Account Manager and Operational Manager on site as needed
  4. Must have capability to use Outlook explorer and transfer order information from Email to Excel trackers
  5. Must be able to provide directions to truck drivers to include dock assignments and pre loading instructions as needed.
  6. Update trackers for inbound loads and provide paperwork (Bill of Lading and Packing List for Outbound Loads)
  7. *SOC (shipper-owned container) exp.
  8. check-in process w/truck drivers
  9. update excel spreadsheets with arrival/depart times
  10. basic clerical work and some filing

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

* Good Attitude, Dedicated to Job, Respectful to Management

* Attendance, Be on time and communicate any issues to supervisors


* Efficient with Microsoft Office

* High School Diploma or GED equivalent is a must
