Rate Range: $80-$85/Hr
location: Plano TX/ Reston, VA (Day 1 Onsite/Hybrid Setup)

Job Description:

• We need Cloud Solution Architect with Application experience (primarily on Java) with Microservice Architecture and database.
• Mandatory Skills:- Solution Architect/Cloud Application Architect, architecture, Java, Microservices, AWS (EC2, ECS, SQS , SNS, AWS Lambda)

Reesponsibilities:

• Consult with management on development of processes and procedures for designing and implementing components of technological structures.
• Create solutions with a process-driven view, as well as maintain and/or update existing structures.
• Determine the needs of diverse and complex customer groups by applying understanding and resolution of complex or unusual business problems.
• Translate functional requirements into technical solutions and engage matrixed teams.
• Oversee existing structures, as well as the implementation and ongoing monitoring of governance.
• Perform modeling, analysis, and planning to solve technical business problems and identify opportunities and risks.

Skills:

• Develop target state architectures, including compliance for cloud inventory – influence delivery toward target state with the business and firm-wide technology products.
• Promote deeper understanding of the executing production architecture to address and optimize patterns, anti-patterns and areas requiring agility for more rapid innovation.
• Strategic thought leadership to advance product architecture tooling and operation models related to application portfolio modernization and tech debt that is visible and actioned.
• Ensure standards, principles and tech stack are refreshed and guide application modernization.
• Design architecture patterns.
• Experience Leading strategy and roadmap of capabilities from architecture perspective. Coach and mentor other Architects within the organization.
• Collaborate with other Architects on application architecture, data architecture, deployment architectures, functional design specifications; assist with other project deliverables as needed.
• Expertise in Database and Management technologies including both relational and NoSQL DBs. Expertise in AWS Data Migration Service and Test Data management frameworks including encryption, masking, data and database migration.
• Experience with cloud migration, microservices architecture
• Skilled in Amazon Web Services (AWS) offerings, development, and networking platforms
• Experience using JIRA and Confluence.
