Job Description
Local CPA Firm looking for a Controller to join the rapidly growing team.
Minimum Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Ability to provide strong financial control and support to the senior management team.
Working closely with management or executive teams to share reports and analysis findings
Manage and assist with company finances including tax, revenue, cash flow, expenses, reports and ongoing financial reporting
Coordinate with external accountants for income tax preparation.
Ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
High-level financial reporting and analysis.
Minimum Required Education and Qualifications:
BA in Accounting or Finance required.
8+years progressive accounting and finance experience
CPA or CMA preferred.
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including US GAAP, Sunshine Act, FDA, etc.
Experience with creating financial statements, general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process.
Excellent accounting software user and administration skills (QuickBooks, SAP).
