About the Team
As the Executive Recruiter, you will connect deeply with the business to learn how TikTok grew into one of the most popular apps in the world. You’ll develop, implement, and drive tailored acquisition strategies as you support the recruiting needs of TikTok’s business. You will build innovative and high-quality hiring strategies led by data and market intelligence, lead a selection process that adopts D&I best practices, and ensure exceptional candidate experience through the hiring journey.
You will have the opportunity to partner with the business leadership team in brand and communications, legal, operations, and global functions, as well as regional and global HR professionals. The ideal candidate is someone who is driven, hungry to learn, gets excited about taking on new challenges, and is a champion for diversity. This is a full-time position, hybrid in the office 3-days per week in our New York location.
What You’ll Do:
– Design and execute bespoke and inclusive search strategies for senior leaders across multiple functions and geographies to identify and proactively engage the top talent in the industry by developing and maintaining a network of potential prospects for executive-level positions.
– Conduct in-depth research to identify and map potential prospects using various sourcing techniques and tools including but not limited to mapping, candidate referral, networking, and other channels.
– Collaborate with cross-functional partners to create talent pipelines for succession planning and key organizational needs.
– Based on in-depth research, conduct market research to identify talent trends and opportunities and prepare reports and presentations to communicate research findings and suggestions to leadership teams.
– Partner effectively with HR and hiring managers throughout the search process, consulting on best practices and talent market insights, while providing a differentiated experience to leaders and candidates alike.
– Position and effectively articulate TikTok’s employer brand and value proposition with industry leaders.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
– 5+ years of global, executive level hiring experience, ideally within the high-tech, media, or other related industries.
– Experience in building executive level candidates and relationships in a global business environment with strong skills in talent mapping.
– Proficient in using various sourcing techniques and tools, including LinkedIn and other tools to conduct solid mapping practice.
Preferred Qualifications
– Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills; ability to build trust-based working relationships with candidates, cross-functional peers, and colleagues in the wider HR function.
– Demonstrated ability to build creative sourcing strategies using global market and talent sourcing intelligence to discover, identify, and attract top talent.
– Entrepreneurial mindset and creative problem-solving ability.
– High level of personal accountability, integrity, and authenticity; ideally you will be detail-oriented, passionate, and intellectually curious.

Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $156000 – $345600 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
