We’ll enable growth and progress together.Google Cloud Security Platform Engineer to design, architect, install and maintain public cloud network infrastructure and services for supporting internet facing applications, enhance cloud security by certifying and operationalizing services to meet business timelines for moving applications to the cloud.Responsibilities:Evaluate existing security configurations and provide actionable recommendations to maintain a highly secure cloud environment.Ensure all proposed solutions are enterprise ready, highly secure, automated, and scalable.Design and implement cloud native network security controls.Certify, integrate, and deploy new products and services for secure use at Citi.Serve as a technology subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders and provide direction for all firm mandated controls and compliance initiatives.Adapt quickly to changing threat landscapes and business requirements.Qualifications:5+ years of relevant experience as a security engineer for Google Cloud.Expert level understanding of Google Cloud.Experience in DevOps and agile methodologies and automated solution delivery and testing through CI/CD pipelines.Hands on experience developing and engineering software solutions and services.Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.Ability to work in a cross-functional environment and partner with virtual teams.Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative.Critical Competencies:Highly proficient in Google Cloud.Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployment using Terraform.Knowledge of container security and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.Education:Bachelor’s degree in computer related field or equivalent work experienceExtensive Google Cloud experience and certifications——————————————————Job Family Group: Technology——————————————————Job Family:Systems & Engineering——————————————————Time Type:Full time——————————————————Primary Location:Irving Texas United States——————————————————Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:$125,760.00 – $188,640.00In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
