Job Details
We are currently looking for a highly motivated candidate to join our team as a Payroll Specialist. The Payroll Specialist assists with the development, administration, and maintenance of payroll, new hires and related finance policy, procedure, and operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Process time 500-1000 employees
- Process garnishments
- Process employee changes
- W-2 year end payroll processing
- Certified payroll reporting
- Monthly reconciliation
- Maintain payroll records
- Maintain PTO balances
- Clerical Duties
Qualifications/Education:
- 1-4 years experience required
- Intermediate/advanced level skills in Excel required
- Sage software experience preferred
- Experience in the Construction Industry is highly preferred
- Certified Payroll experience a PLUS
- Garnishment experience a PLUS
