Trinity Rail Maintenance Services is searching for a talented team player to fill the open position of Production Scheduler in our Fort Worth, TX manufacturing facility!Join our team today and be a part of Delivering Goods for the Good of All!What you’ll do:* Build integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics and outside suppliers* Focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes and establishes key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis* Promote alignment by understanding and communicating customer needs and requirements throughout the maintenance repair shop* Determine car requirements and coordinate the efficient movement of production and engineering* Coordinate information and activities with other team members* May coordinate or exchange information with third parties, vendors, or customers* Lead technical and mechanical reviews with Operations, Safety, Welding, Quality to analyze and develop optimal process instructions* Develop and conduct reports, manage meetings, and support the railcar maintenance* Collaborate with Lean and Continuous Improvement teams at plants during Kaizen events or Value Stream mapping activities* Collect, compile, and present railcar maintenance progress and status report on a daily basis, or as requested* Required to provide support during peak fulfillment periods to meet corporate financial targets* Responsible for ensuring inventory & material controls are in place and executed per the plan* Other duties as assignedWhat you’ll need:* Bachelor’s degree preferred with one year experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience* 9 years of manufacturing experience without degree* Intermediate to advanced computer skills* Outstanding interpersonal skills* Ability to work with many levels within the organization
