Location: Plano, TexasJob Type: PermanentCompensation Range: $80,000 – 90,000 per yearJoin our client’s dynamic team as a Production Support specialist in Plano, TX.We are seeking a talented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at resolving technical issues to ensure the smooth operation of our client’s production systems. The ideal is passionate about technology, possesses strong problem-solving skills, and enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities:Understand customer requirements and project KPIs.Implement various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure.Plan team structure, activities, and involvement in project management activities.Manage stakeholders and external interfaces.Set up tools and required infrastructure.Define and set development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operations.Review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project.Apply troubleshooting techniques and fix code bugs.Monitor processes during the entire lifecycle for adherence and update or create new processes for improvement and minimizing waste.Encourage and build automated processes wherever possible.Identify and deploy cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessments and risk management.Manage incident management and root cause analysis.Coordinate and communicate within the team and with customers.Select and deploy appropriate CI/CD tools.Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline).Mentor and guide team members.Monitor and measure customer experience and KPIs.Manage periodic reporting on progress to management and customers.Qualifications:Experience level: ExperiencedEducation: Bachelors (required)3+ years of project work experience, with cloud experience and certifications being advantageous (AWS specifically preferred).Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role.Proficient with git and git workflows.Good knowledge of Ruby or Python.Working knowledge of databases like MongoDB and SQL.Problem-solving attitude.Collaborative team spirit.
