Title: Project Manager III
Location: Regional, West Coast Area (Hybrid)
Description:
The Project Manager III will oversee and manage large, complex projects, ensuring successful delivery aligned with the organization’s strategic goals. Responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, defining project scope, creating detailed plans, and utilizing project management methodologies to drive project success. The role requires proactive risk management, status reporting, and strategic realignment when challenges arise, while also maintaining accurate project data and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of assigned projects, including scope, schedule, resources, risks, and communication plans.
Ensure project artifacts are accurately documented, organized, and submitted within centralized repositories.
Lead cross-functional teams to define project goals, tasks, and benefits, employing established methodologies.
Develop comprehensive project plans and drive execution while meeting toll-gates and governance requirements.
Optimize project governance by adhering to established processes, tracking metrics, and managing change.
Mentor and guide team members to align project deliverables with organizational standards.
Provide strategic oversight, aligning multiple complex projects with the organization’s objectives.
Address and resolve issues, escalate concerns when necessary, and ensure stakeholders are kept informed.
Prepare executive summaries and secure leadership approval for project execution plans.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent education and experience).
Experience:
Five to seven years of project management experience, preferably in managed care or healthcare consulting.
Experience with executive decision-making facilitation and conflict resolution.
Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare managed care systems is highly desirable.
Required Skills:
Proven success in managing large-scale, diverse, and complex projects concurrently.
Strong analytical, planning, and organizational abilities, with a collaborative approach.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and strong time management.
Proficiency in using project management frameworks and tools to produce standard documentation.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment, handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Familiarity with healthcare technology and enterprise project management methodologies.

Pay rate: $55-$63 per hour
