Our client, an electric utility company is seeking a Trans Right of Way Agent to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, conflict management and organizational skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Trans Right of Way Agent
Location: Corpus Christi, TX (hybrid)
Pay Range: Up to $37.85/hr
Duration: 12 months (potential to convert)
Travel 20% to visit site locations in Southern TX. Once a year meeting in Tulsa. Potential for overnight stays.
What’s the Job?
- Overseeing multiple projects or program area of projects related to the successful installation of transmission line and/or transmission or distribution substation facilities
- Collaborating in scope completion and creation of estimates, along with managing the ROW acquisition include the monthly facilitation of meetings for status (along with creation and updating monthly project cost budgets and project schedules)
- Develop relationships and effectively communicate with all stakeholders including internal customers, external customers, team members, suppliers, contractors, vendors, and industry peers
- Provide guidance, coordination, and instruction to initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control, and close projects in a safe and efficient manner to complete projects on time and within budget
- Act as an expert witness, assist and confer with legal counsel and project management in the selection of witnesses and commissioners in connection with condemnation and/or other court actions.
What’s Needed?
- Associate’s degree in real estate, business, engineering, project management or related applicable field 3+ years of experience, OR, Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience.
- Experience with invoicing approval and forecasting.
- Experience with DOT or Railroad permitting.
- Knowledgeable in land negotiations, along with land owner / customer support.
- Knowledgeable in GIS Mapping systems and databases
- Properly review maps, drawings and surveys.
