SAP BW Datasphere Consultant Full Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled SAP BW HANA & Power BI Specialist with experience in SAP BW, SAP BW HANA, Power BI, and SAP Datasphere. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP integration, including connecting Power BI to SAP systems and using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for financial data analysis. This role will focus on creating and managing CDS views and planning models in SAC related to finance, helping to drive efficient data integration and reporting within SAP environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• SAP BW and SAP HANA Integration: Leverage your expertise in SAP BW and SAP BW HANA to manage and optimize data storage, processing, and reporting within SAP systems.
• Power BI Integration: Utilize Power BI to connect to SAP systems for seamless data visualization, reporting, and dashboard creation.
• SAC Integration: Connect SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) to SAP BW, SAP HANA, and SAP Datasphere to enable data-driven decision-making across finance functions.
• CDS Views & Planning Models: Create and maintain Core Data Services (CDS) views and planning models in SAC for financial reporting and analysis.
• Data Modeling & Reporting: Design and implement data models that support financial planning and analysis workflows.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure effective data integration, reporting, and analysis in SAP environments.

Required Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with SAP BW, SAP BW HANA, and SAP Datasphere.
• Strong expertise in Power BI, including experience connecting Power BI to SAP systems.
• Experience working with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), particularly in financial planning models and CDS views.
• Strong understanding of financial data and the ability to model and report on financial metrics using SAP tools.
• Proven ability to design and implement complex data integration solutions between SAP and other systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on optimizing data flows and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and integration with other SAP tools.
• Experience with SAP FICO (Finance & Controlling) module, particularly in the context of financial reporting and planning.
• Experience with data governance and ensuring compliance within SAP data environments.
• Familiarity with advanced data visualization techniques and best practices for SAP reporting.
• Knowledge of cloud-based SAP environments and their integration with on-premise systems.

Certifications (if any):

SAP Certified Application Associate in SAP BW or SAP HANA (Preferred).

Power BI certification or equivalent data visualization certifications (Preferred).

SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) certification (Preferred).
