Tasks
- Get involved with challenging projects in management, process, and IT consulting with a focus on discrete manufacturing
- Conduct workshops and consult, design, and lead innovative SAP DM (DMC) and SAP ME (Manufacturing Execution) implementations
- Act in a functional consulting role for analysis, design, conception, prototyping, realization, testing, rollout, and support
- Design concepts to process data and overall architecture to enable digital production.
- Define, design and configure integration to other SAP modules (specifically SAP PP, QM, PM, IM, EWM, MII, PCo)
- Prepare functional specifications for development work
- Conduct functional testing to ensure accurate configuration and development.
- Assume partial project management responsibility
- Prepare process flows/training documents and execute training of our client’s business owners and users
- Create long-term relationships with clients
- Identify and lead business development and presales activities including proofs-of-concept, demos, presentations, webinars, blog posts, RFP responses, estimations, proposals, leads & opportunities follow-up
- Take over responsibility as (sub) project team leader
- Achieve a strong reputation as a business advisor
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of relevant manufacturing industry and/or consulting experience
- Successful demonstration of business development with new and existing clients
- At least 2 full SAP ME and/or SAP DM project implementations
- Knowledge of production planning, production master data, MRP, shop floor order creation/tracking, shop floor quality, logistics, and plant maintenance processes
- Ability to define SAP DM/ME implementation strategy, gather functional and non-functional requirements, design and prototype, test, train, define support procedures, and implement practical business solutions
- Knowledge of SAP DM/ME site setups, shop floor master data, shop floor execution and tracking, ERP integration, PODs, data collection (DC), genealogy, returns management, site-to-site transfer, etc.
- Knowledge of integration points of SAP DM/ME to other SAP components
- Profound SAP project and Go-Live experience (SAP implementation approach)
- Experience preparing and presenting proofs-of-concept, demos, proposals, RFP responses
- Experience preparing and presenting webinars, manufacturing events
- Must be self-motivated and capable of working under minimal supervision of a Manager
- Must possess the necessary leadership, team building, motivation, and delegation skills to efficiently coordinate the efforts of a team toward accomplishing a common goal
- Experience with exploiting the convergence of OT and IT to drive digital transformation in manufacturing
- Ability to recognize and evaluate client business/technical needs and establish change initiatives to meet these needs

- Fluency in English (multi-lingual preferred)
- Bachelor’s Degree is required
