What your new challenge will look like The SAP EWM Architect will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing SAP Extended Warehouse Management solutions that meet our clients’ business requirements and operational needs. This individual will be instrumental in defining architectural standards, leading project teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions. Responsibilities include: Serve as the primary architect for SAP EWM solutions, leading the design and configuration of scalable, robust, and efficient systems. Analyze and evaluate client business processes and requirements to develop innovative solutions using SAP EWM.
Define and enforce architectural guidelines, standards, and best practices for the implementation and integration of SAP EWM with other enterprise systems. Lead and mentor teams in the implementation, configuration, and support of SAP EWM solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and project standards. Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and clients to ensure effective communication and alignment on project goals and deliverables. Conduct workshops and training sessions for clients and internal teams to promote understanding of SAP EWM capabilities and configurations.
Oversee testing and quality assurance processes, ensuring that implementations meet functional requirements and performance metrics. Provide strategic advice and technical expertise to enhance system performance, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and updates/upgrades. Stay current with the latest developments and technologies in SAP EWM and related fields, incorporating new technologies into solutions where beneficial. Support sales and pre-sales activities by contributing to proposals, demonstrations, and client presentations.
Why you belong at 4flow Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Eight to twelve years of hands-on experience with SAP EWM in an architectural or lead consultant role. Deep understanding of SAP EWM core functionalities including inbound and outbound processing, warehouse monitoring, cross-docking, yard management, and resource optimization. Proven ability to architect and deliver large-scale warehouse management implementations with SAP EWM.
Strong leadership and project management skills, capable of leading cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Superior communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with clients and internal teams. SAP EWM certification is highly desirable.
