CTG is seeking to fill a SAP Systems Support Specialist opening for our client in Elgin, IL.
Location: Elgin, IL
Duration: 9 months
Duties:
- Manage SAP operations for raw materials (quantities and quality) used in Elgin plant and R&D production.
- Drive SAP workflows that support the production of raw materials and finished goods.
- Create and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs).
- Support SAP workflows to transfer existing products to Elgin.
- Execute related SAP work to support shipping activities.
- Assist with labeling and packaging of samples and finished products.
- Provide administrative support for site regulatory requests.
Skills:
- Proficiency in SAP or equivalent ERP software.
- Strong organizational and process management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the persistence to complete tasks.
- High attention to detail with effective communication skills in English.
- Ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality.
Experience:
- Experience with industrial manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of coatings/paints, chemicals, food, medical, or pharmaceutical production is a plus.
- Experience in SAP or equivalent ERP systems is highly preferred.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- SAP Certification is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
