Job Description Summary:
The SAP Finance Sr Manager will be part of the IT team that supports the Finance organization and, specifically, the tax department globally. Leveraging both your comprehensive SAP-related experience on purchase and sales transactions as well as tax knowledge, you will play a critical role in leading and managing the end-to-end integration of Vertex indirect tax products with SAP Financial Systems, from initial tax requirements gathering to deployment, including solution design, configuration, testing, training, and post-go-live support. The analyst works closely with the Tax Technology Director and a wide variety of internal stakeholders in the full range of the product development cycle.
You will make recommendations to management based on cost/benefit findings and participate in the development and customization of products. Individual contributor with comprehensive knowledge in a specific area; ability to execute highly complex or specialized projects.
What You’ll Do for Us:
Qualifications & Requirements:
5+ years of configuration experience in SAP FI, SD, and MM with a focus on Indirect Tax determination in each of these SAP modules
Strong understanding of the different types of tax and ability to configure tax codes in SAP and/or Vertex or other 3 rd party tax applications
A h igh-level functional or technical knowledge of tax engines ( e.g., Vertex products ) and service offerings
5 + years of experience managing and delivering mission-critical, high-availability large and small IT development projects using structured project management and system development methodologies.
Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative problem-solving skills, ability to listen to and understand needs across diverse stakeholders at various levels of the organization.

Pay Range:
$138,200 – $161,500
Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
