Llano Talent Relations Manager
The Talent Relations Manager is responsible for team member relations and satisfaction. He/She is responsible for all talent management processes and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
•Has oversight of talent management day to day processes including, but not limited to, hiring, investigations, performance reviews, corrective actions and terminations
•Coordinate with the Operations Team and Talent Acquisition Specialist on recruiting efforts to ensure proper staffing levels are maintained
•Manage each step of the hiring process to ensure best practices and processes are followed
•Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation and ensure proper training is implemented
•Ensure all new full time team members understand benefits and how to complete benefits paperwork
•Responsible for payroll procedures for team members
•Coordinate with managers on talent management actions
•Manage and motivate a team of direct reports to ensure HR goals are met
•Evaluate HR practices to ensure best practices are implemented
•Coach and develop team members and leadership team
•Ensure all paperwork related to talent management practices is complete, on time, and accurate
•Work closely with management on team member communications
•Responsible for identifying areas of opportunity related to team member relations
•Recommend and implement practices necessary to establish positive relationships and promote a higher level of engagement
•Lead team member engagement plans and activities
•Coordinate performance reviews and discipline process
•Conduct exit interviews, track turnover and retention and monitor staffing trends
•Perform other duties as requested or required by a higher level of management
Key Requirements:
•Bachelors Degree in any discipline (relevant work experience may be substituted for degree) preferred
•Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing a team preferred
•Minimum of 2 years human resources-related experience required
•PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
•Ability to work independently without supervision and effectively manage time
•Detail-oriented; organized with ability to multitask and meet deadlines
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
•Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills to interact with all levels across the organization
•Knowledgeable in Federal and state laws, regulations, and guidelines governing the human resources field
•Easily accessible and ability to have a flexible schedule if needed
•Ability to analyze situations and implement the correct solution that will benefit the business
•Ability to function as a team member and get along with others
•Ability to work at a fast-paced but efficient and controlled manner
•Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude
