Description We are seeking a Time & Billing Clerk to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This role involves working closely with attorneys and the accounting team and requires proficiency in QuickBooks and other billing software like TimeSolv. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity in the legal industry.Responsibilities:- Work with attorneys and the accounting team to manage billing processes- Maintain and process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency- Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting functions- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) in a law firm context- Employ TimeSolv or similar time billing software for efficient time management and billing- Keep customer credit records up-to-date and accurate- Regularly monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions- Collaborate with the team to resolve customer inquiries- Maintain proficiency in various accounting software systems such as ADP – Financial Services, Crystal Reports, ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP Solutions, and About Time.- Perform other billing functions as needed. Requirements – Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a must- Experience with ADP – Financial Services highly preferred- Familiarity with Crystal Reports is desirable- Knowledge of ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary- Understanding of ERP Solutions is highly beneficial- Experience with About Time software preferred- Ability to handle Accounting Functions proficiently- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processes required- Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes is necessary- Familiarity with Billing Functions is essential- Proficiency in QuickBooks is highly preferredRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
