1st Shift, Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 3:00pm

We’re seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor who can bring out the best in his/her team. If you know how to encourage people to continually raise the bar while taking responsibility for all day-to-day warehouse operations, you might be an ideal fit for our growing company.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

1. Ensure efficient daily operations of the warehouse
2. Supervise the team and provide training and coaching to improve performance
3. Monitor work quality to consistently deliver exceptional customer service
4. Demonstrate an understanding of the company quality policy
5. Review, research, develop and communicate environmental health and safety/security programs and solutions initiatives; develop action plans as necessary
6. Lead safety/security meetings, training and continuing education
7. Adhere to the GXO 7S program
8. Communicate well with leadership, team members and other departments

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

1. 2 years of relevant work experience
2. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and computerized scanner equipment
3. Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends

It’d be great if you also have:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or a related field
2. 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience
3. Solid time and project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workloads
4. Experience with environmental health and safety in a warehousing/distribution environment
5. Understanding of industry-related state and federal rules and regulations
6. Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment
7. Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) experience

This job requires the ability to:

1. Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights
2. Stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time
3. Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
4. Handle or manage tools or equipment
5. Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
