The Opportunity:
We are looking for a motivated mid-level Wellness Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. The right candidate will have a passion for health and wellness, an eye for detail, and a desire to support a team dedicated to improving patient health. The Wellness Administrative Assistant is responsible for managing patient information, maintaining a positive patient experience, and supporting clinical and administrative staff.
Job Responsibilities:
- Communicating and explaining treatment plans to prospective patients.
- Facilitating treatment plan sales.
- Assisting with construction of payment plans.
- Scheduling patient appointments with wellness coordinators.
- Communicating patient’s questions and concerns with wellness coordinators and clinical staff.
- Managing patient profiles and keeping them up to date.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Health Administration or related field.
- 3-5 years experience in health administration, preferably in a wellness, cardiovascular, or nutrition-focused setting.
- Proficient in health information systems and strong computer and data management skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) software.
- Certification in health administration or management.
- Background in nutrition or a health-related field.
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary health team.
- Bi-lingual capabilities (Spanish/English).
