SAP PRA Specialist Full Time

Role: SAP PRA Specialist
Duration: 6 months Contract to Hire
Location: Dallas or Houston, TX
Rate: Market

Job Scope Overview:

As an SAP PRA (Product Revenue Accounting) Specialist, you will work to support the PRA system for the enterprise operations working closely with the business, IT, Accounting and Finance divisions, as well as other special entities within the organization to support the PRA system. You will work with business teams as a liaison for application functions and assist with support activities to assess/analyze issues to help derive solutions, for PRA modules. You will work both independently, and in a team setting in support of the SAP PRA environment. You will be involved in coordinating and leading UAT – User Acceptance Testing and working with the business to align changes for process improvements. You will assist with generating reports for business teams and work with business leaders and stakeholders to ensure efficiency of the SAP PRA System.

Specific Skills, Technology, & Education Requirements:


  • A Bachelor’s Degree and/or at least 6-8 years of SAP enterprise experience to include:
    • Customizing SAP systems and extensive troubleshooting experience
    • Working with multiple business units that heavily utilize SAP systems

  • At least 3 years of experience in SAP PRA – Product Revenue Accounting, to include:
    • A strong understanding of ownership process, cross reference set-up and how RPA modules relate to one another
    • A strong understanding or RPA modules – Production, CA, Ownership, Revenue Accounting
    • A strong understanding of the check write process
    • Contractual allocations and related processes
    • Working with issues arising in valuation

  • A strong ability to work with multiple business systems and debug programs (working in test systems) to identify root cause issues work with teams to provide technical resolutions
  • Strong data analysis skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) with strong business facing skills – supporting business stakeholders
  • Strong analytical abilities with a passion for troubleshooting and identifying root cause technical issues
  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently with strong attention to detail, and being able to multi-task
  • Prior experience working in the Oil & Gas industry
