Job Summary:
The Production Control Clerk plays a vital role in coordinating and monitoring the production process. This position involves tracking production schedules, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring efficient workflow to meet production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Scheduling: Assist in creating and maintaining production schedules to optimize workflow and meet delivery deadlines.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and record inventory levels of materials and finished products, ensuring accurate stock levels.
  • Data Entry: Input and update production data in the management system, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Coordination: Communicate with production teams, suppliers, and management to facilitate smooth operations and address any issues.
  • Reporting: Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production metrics, inventory status, and other relevant data.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including work orders and production logs.
  • Quality Control: Assist in monitoring production processes for compliance with quality standards and procedures.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and report any production-related issues to management for timely resolution.


Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business or manufacturing is a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience in production control, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Experience working in ERP systems
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
    • Familiarity with production management software is a plus.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.


Physical Requirements:


  • Ability to sit for extended periods and perform tasks on a computer.
  • May require occasional lifting of materials or products.
